- OE-CAKE! enables you to experience 2D physics simulation. This software was distributed for free when Phyzios, Inc. was a part of Prometech Software, Inc. OE-CAKE! was developed so that users can easily experience functions of OctaveEngine™ Casual, a physics engine for game development. With OE-CAKE, you can generate objects just by drawing them and see how they move according to laws of physics. You can generate materials that exist in the real life, such as gaseous bodies, fluid bodies, rigid bodies, elastic bodies, etc. By combining them, you can create complex combinations of objects and gimmicks to play with. In addition to it, you can put pictures or graphics of your own creation, so that diverse expressions are available.
We are glad that OE-CAKE! has been used by a great many users around the world and appreciate all the many feedbacks and requests from them. OE-CAKE was temporality unavailable during the transition period from Prometech Software, Inc. to Phyzios, Inc. but we’ve already resumed development of this application again. We are doing our best to reflect the feedbacks and requests from users. OE-CAKE! will come back soon as an on iPhone/iPod touch application and a web-based application too. - OctaveEngine™ Casual is a 2D multi-physics engine for development of casual games. This engine uses the particle method as its physics law. This method, by calculating objects as a collection of particles, can handle most of the solid state properties in the real world including elastic bodies, plastic bodies, fluid bodies, gaseous bodies as well as rigid bodies. This law can calculate mechanical interactions between bodies of different types. With this feature, you can reproduce highly complex and diverse physical phenomena.
